Andy Myer

Children's Author

Andy Myer began his creative journey as a freelance humorous illustrator in 1979. Over his 40+ year career, his witty drawings appeared in national magazines like Sports Illustrated and Forbes, in advertising for companies that include Pfizer, AT&T, and CIGNA, and in trade publications and book projects too numerous to mention. In the late 1990’s Andy began contributing satirical editorial commentary pieces to the Philadelphia Inquirer and other major papers.

In 2011 he launched his career as a children’s book author/illustrator with Pickles, Please! published by Running Press Kids. Two years later Sleeping Bear Press released Delia’s Dull Day, followed in 2015 by Andy’s first middle grade offering, Henry Hubble’s Book of Troubles, put out by Delacorte Press.

Sometimes You Find a Red Rhinoceros is Andy’s most recent outing as a children’s book author/illustrator.
