Nathaniel Kaplan

Originally from Cincinnati, Nathaniel Kaplan currently lives outside of Boston with his wife, daughter, son, and dog. He’s the proud principal of an urban, music-focused school serving kids from Pre-K to 8th grade. In his writing, Nathaniel has the same goal as he has at school— to provide kids and their families with a unique, positive, growth-oriented experience. Also true for both school and writing, Nathaniel is keenly aware to be standing on the shoulders of giants, and hopes that what he is putting out into the world in both disciplines offers some measure of thanks for those who came before and blazed the trail. Nathaniel is also a musician and occasionally performs as part of a duo with his wife under the band name Folding Laundry.
