Caroline Dittmann

Caroline Dittmann is an illustrator based in Portland, Oregon. She loves creating whimsical, silly, and colorful characters and illustrations. She mainly works digitally and experiments with animation and traditional materials including gouache, color pencil, and collage. She enjoys working on projects that make people smile.                      

She grew up in San Francisco, the oldest of five kids, in an old blue broken down Victorian house, and majored in Environmental Science at UC Berkeley, where I sketched over all my notes. In my past lives Caroline has worked as a seamstress making costumes for theater productions, a librarian, a front desk attendant at a youth hostel, a croissant baker, and a bakery manager.

You can find her on Instagram, where she post daily creations and experiments (most of the time!) to her more than 50k followers, and in my sunny studio, where she plays with shapes and colors, daydreams, and collects as many plants as she can.
